A secluded meadow in the environs of Danbury in the heart of rural Essex was the location fo Cydney and Luke’s wedding. Back in July, Winnie’s photo booth was lucky enough to be invited along to help entertain all their lovely guests. Despite the rain!
A real oasis, the West Street Vineyard in Coggeshall, Essex was the venue for the intimate country wedding of Jo and Kev back in June 2019. We’re already booked to be back there in 2020!

We met Alan at an event on Friday, he makes the most extraordinary balloon ‘sculptures’. His suit was pretty special too! Definitely a great addition to any wedding or event. You can find out more at BubblyCircus.co.uk
Nina and Chris were kind enough to have us along to their wedding at The Compasses at Pattiswick on the 4th of May. Another lovely evening with lovely people.
To Felsham Hall in Suffolk we wended back on the 27th April. A brusque wind and a little rain did nothing to dampen the spirits of Annie and Mateo’s wedding guests. Thanks for having us!
We’re a bit behind on our updates for this year so it’s time to catch up. Back on the 28th of March Winnie found her way to Gaynes Park in Epping for Lucy and Christopher’s spring wedding.
As the song says, go west. So we did, along the A120 to Bury Lodge, Stansted for Chloe and Lee’s wedding reception. Winnie found her spot on the grass at the back of the venue. We were treated to an hour long Cockney singalong and lots of lovely people making good use of Winnie’s photobooth. We hope you all enjoy the photographs for a long time to come.
Winnie ventured forth in the evening sun to the barn wedding of Mike and Steph at Thames Chase Forest Centre. A cute courtyard provided the vista for Winnie’s photo booth. We even bumped in to our old friends Dirty Wafer!
Winnie wound her way up along the River Crouch and back down the other side to Rochford on Bank Holiday Monday for Graham and Tracy’s wedding at The Lawn. A beautiful venue set in some delightful grounds, perfect for Winnie’s photobooth. The kids especially enjoyed it and we got to premiere our new bubble machine!

And thanks to the bride’s brother who kept us entertained with his conversation for most of the evening!
It was back to our old haunt, The Compasses at Pattiswick, for Faye and Joe. Since first meeting us at a wedding fair in early 2017 they have become great friends and we delighted to bring Winnie’s famous photo booth to their wedding. All the guests took to it with great spirit and we hope the pictures last a lifetime.
For her first wedding of 2018 Winnie wound her way on a crisp Friday night along the M25 to Gate Street Barn, near Guildford in Surrey. A little rain never stopped Winnie, so her photo booth was set up as close to the door as we could manage. All the guests were friendly and made the most of Winnie.
Winnie wound her way along the Crouch, and back down the other side to Red Brick Barn in Rochford for Cheryl and Jack’s wedding on the 14th of October 2017. A huge piece of hard-standing right in front of the venue was the perfect spot for Winnie’s photobooth.
We just received a lovely photograph and message from Rebecca and Stu, whose wedding at Gosfield Hall Winnie attended on Friday 27th October 2017:
Wow!!!!!! What can we say! You honestly made our wedding reception even more Unforgettable! Winnie looked absolutely spectacular and everyone was gobsmacked when they entered the courtyard and saw her all setup. Thank you to winnies team for being so lovely, helpful and a pleasure to be involved with our wedding. People are certainly going to be talking about winnie for a very long time!!!
It was back to The Compasses at Pattiswick on 16th of September for Amanda and Matthew’s wedding. The sunset didn’t disappoint and nor did all the lovely guests who took full advantage of Winnie’s photo booth. Our vintage radio (a recent addition) played some vintage jazz and added a warm glow inside.
Oh what a night! Winnie wound her way toward the Rodings in Essex, but misfortune would strike! Winnie’s van broke down just two miles from the venue. Winnie’s hero came in the form of a recovery truck, who towed her to The Reid Rooms for Erica and James’ wedding.
Although an hour late, we raced to get set up as soon as possible and Winnie’s photo booth was in business in no time at all. Erica and James, and all the wedding guests, were very understanding and made the best of Winnie. We of course stayed an hour extra to make up for the time lost.
The A120 was angry that night my friends, like an old man sending back soup in a cafe. Poor weather and road works conspired against Winnie on the 1st of September 2017. But we got there in the end!
A fun and lively bunch with some from as far away as San Francisco! One of the busiest nights Winnie’s photobooth has seen. The venue itself, Great Bromley village hall, is a delightful turn of the century building that doubles as a cricket pavilion. A great little venue, a bit of a hidden treasure!
Winnie wound her way through the wilds of the Maldon district on Saturday 26th of August for Terrie and Oli’s wedding at Captain’s Wood Barn. This stunning location was the perfect spot for Winnie’s photo booth. Oh, and we especially approved of the DJ’s choices!
It was a warm and balmy evening that saw Winnie The Vintage Caravan head to Vaulty Manor between Heybridge and Goldhanger in Essex on Saturday 19th August 2017. Winnie was back on her old stomping ground on Saturday 5th of August when she took her photo booth to The Compasses at Pattiswick in Essex. Winnie’s vintage charm and oodles of bunting added to the abundance of wedding bunting around the venue.
Sam and Chloe were a delightful couple, their guests clearly had a delightful time. The guestbook was full to brimming with fun photographs. Thanks for having us.
It rained and it poured in Great Bardfield near Braintree in Essex on Saturday 29th July, but that didn’t stop Jonny and Nicola, and their wedding guests, having a great time. Winnie was there but stayed shut so we took her photo booth inside and set up opposite a brick wall that had probably been there for hundreds of years.
It was the first photobooth we’ve done where we had the guests stand and we think it went really well. We were busy for the full three hours with lots of laughter and creative use of Winnie’s vintage props.
Winnie spent the weekend in festival mode at The Parlour Cafe’s Midsummer Festival. Two days of live music, good food, and generous drinks. And with the drinking came the silliness in Winnie’s photo booth.
Winnie got to try out her awning on Saturday for a short downpour creating a cosy little place to sit listen to music in silly hats. Perfect for those wedding days when a little shower is nothing to worry about.
On Saturday 15th July Winnie crossed the Thames to Surrey for her first wedding south of the river. A delightful affair on private property where Winnie’s unique photobooth fit in to the surroundings especially well.
Many congratulations to Sara and Rupert, we hope the photos the last a lifetime.
Winnie went all the way to Berkshire on Saturday 8th July for the most extravagant and fun 50th birthday party she’s we’ve ever seen. Woody’s Woodstock was a festival style party with at least as many guests as the weddings we usually do. Alongside Winnie’s photobooth was a karaoke caravan, a fish and chip van, a juice bar (offering cocktails), a pub in a double-decker bus, and a vintage caravan serving hot savoury food, coffee, and ice cream.
It marked Winnie’s first use of animated photos. Along with digital copies of all your photos, you now also receive a video of all your guests animated in Winnie. A great way to remember the day.
Winnie shoehorned her photobooth in to a resplendent barn in rural Essex on Saturday 1st July 2017 for the Mother Funder’s Full Moon Party in aid of Little Haven’s Hospice.
Lots of great photographs were taken home by the fluorescent guests with Winnie’s vintage look really adding to the decor of the venue. It was as busy as any wedding we’ve done!
Winnie took her indoor photo booth set up to the Ramblers football club in Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex last night for The Phoenix Ball. It was a night to raise money for The Phoenix Children’s Ward at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford.
Winnie was busy all night taking photographs of all the glammed up attendees and everyone left with handfuls of fun prints to remember the night by.
The indoor photo booth is something we can do if the caravan isn’t suitable, or if the weather is particularly poor. It’s a backdrop designed to look like your grannie’s front room!
On Sunday 28th of May Winnie headed toward London and the greenery of Upminster for Lucy and Lee’s wedding at Top Meadow Golf Club. It poured with rain as we arrived, but we were patient and after the rain cleared we worked extra hard and only opened a few minutes late.
We had a fun, sociable crowd who were queuing up at the photo booth before we even opened. The only lull we had in the whole four hours we were open was during the first dance! Thanks to Lucy and Lee and we hope you enjoy the photographs for many years to come.
Winnie made a return trip The Compasses At Pattiswick on Saturday 27th May for Hannah and Daniel’s wedding reception. It was a lovely evening in a stunning location with it’s famous sunset. The guests had lots of fun in Winnie’s photo booth and went home with lots of fun photographs to remember the day by.
Winnie done had the blues, and nobody had the blues like Winnie. At least on Sunday 7th May 2017 when Winnie opened her photo booth to all the friendly folk at Blues at the Barns at The Parlour Café in Burnham-on-Crouch.
With two stages and over eight hours of music Winnie’s warm and welcoming lights really added to the festival atmosphere. Young and old enjoyed getting dressed up in vintage bluesy outfits and having their photos taken.
We met Mimi the vintage ice cream van, and The Heavenly Hotdog Company, both of whom we hope to meet at a wedding very soon.
Good Friday saw Winnie’s first Wedding of 2017. We went to the Compasses at Pattiswick for Kerry and Gareth’s wedding reception. The weather was great, the venue beautiful as ever, and the guests all had fun.
It was our first chance to really test the photo booth upgrades we made over the Winter and we’re happy to say all went well.
Winnie and her Reindeer spent the weekend at The Parlour Cafe in Burnham-on-Crouch at their Christmas Fair. Winnie got in the spirit of the season by giving away free photos to all her visitors. Winnie got lots of lovely compliments and plenty of inquiries for weddings and parties.
We had a great time and are already thinking of how to make her even more festive next year.
Winnie had a super time (despite the rain) at the Parlour Cafe last Saturday for Donna and Stewart’s tenth wedding anniversary party Everyone was keen to have their photo taken, especially the children.
Winnie had a great time yesterday at Crabbs Barn in Kelvedon. The weather was glorious and Winnie was a perfect fit for the venue. We met lots of lovely people who enjoyed having their photo taken, many of whom paid us such nice compliments. The children especially enjoyed getting dressed up and taking lots and lots of photos in Winnie. We did more photos in one evening than ever before. Thanks for having us!
Winnie recently had the distinct pleasure of attending Matthew and Petriona’s wedding at the gorgeous Compasses at Pattiswick. The day started with heavy rain so we set up inside, just in case. However, when the evening arrived the sun came out and we worked hard to get Winnie open for business.
The guests were a fun and friendly bunch who loved Winnie and by the sounds of laughter, and the looks of the photos, they had enormous fun.
We had a wonderful time and hope the photos are enjoyed for many years to come. We thank Matthew and Petriona for being our guinea-pigs. They also have the singular honour of being Winnie’s first wedding!
Our very warmest wishes and the best of luck for the future you two.
Another great night, and another spectacular sunset, at The Compasses at Pattiswick for the wedding of Matt and Lianne. A great crowd who all had a ball in Winnie’s Vintage photobooth. A really fun bunch and so considerate with all our props!
